Highlights of the show included imagining a duet between falsetto pimp Ryan Jordan and Barry White.
w/Go Van Gogh, The Jones Street Boys & Caleb Travers
Old Rock House, St. Louis
Highlights:
The Jones Street Boys unplugged song from the stairs—no one quieted down, but that made it special for those of us close enough to almost hear...plus it meant finally the end of their hour-and-a-half opening set.
The Feed's Ben Reece's sleeveless Christmas sweater 'n' turtleneck combo, complete with Santa hat and aviators
The Feed opening their set with Schroeder's theme as Ben threw out presents
Dave Grelle working a line of "Jingle Bells" into the opening lines of new song "Black Eyes"
Seeing the Old Rock House packed with an originals show
Go Van Gogh's Andy Dwiggins' new haircut and his beautiful scarf-as-tie
New GVG songs, including "Sick and Tired," a rocker w/lovely falsetto
The addition of The Coherent's Jeffro on keys to really round out the band's sound
The way the Old Rock House became a dance party
New song with triple harmonies! And a '70s disco feel
