Seriously, this is the most vocally, physically, and emotionally demanding show I’ve ever done. It is three-and-a-half hours nonstop. I do have to sleep more because the show is such a workout.

I see female fans after the show when I’m in the lobby after the show, collecting for Broadway Fights AIDS in all my spandex glory; these women are decked out in their boas and sequined shirts.

I think being a father really helps, because I’m on this journey myself right now, and fairly new to it. I can relate what’s going on in the show every night to what’s going on in my life.
