Matt Hopper
"To generalize Hopper would be to say he's indie-pop with a dash of country. To understand Hopper, however, requires listening beyond his energetic to lullaby-like acoustic guitar playing and taking in what he has to say." -Nevada Sagebrush "Hopper is a monster front man who writes brilliantly crafted pop tunes. He has the catalog, persistance and stage presence to be the next big thing in pop music's rebirth of the singer/songwriter genre. He's already proven he's among the best of his class." —Summit Daily News
Leeroy Stagger
"Two parts Wilco, one part Ryan Adams and six parts Wild Turkey bourbon equals Canada's Leeroy Stagger. Following in the footsteps of West Coast punkers before him who have picked up their acoustic guitars and explored the gentler side of hurtin', 21-year-old Stagger's second solo effort is an engaging mix of acoustic, introspective numbers jumpled with some solid indie rockers." —Chart
Geoff Koch
This hardworking, earnest St. Louis performer was named Best Singer-Songwriter (Peoples Choice) in the 2006 St. Louis Music Awards. Last year saw Geoff releasing Live at Lucas School House followed by a solo national tour bookended by two festival appearances at Midwest Music Summit and South Park Music Festival. This year, the sky's the limit.
"[Jarman's music is] certainly very Irish, but distilled into western-pop folk cadences, through a voice that is alternately strong and emotionally fragile. Seth's guitar style ranges from rich modal passages to the expected jangly folk picking, but there is an elegance & calm beauty in a song like "Floating" that you never get from your Ramblin Jack Elliott types. Definitely the champagne of the local folk scene." —St. Louis Sound Magazine
