When they make that movie about your life, and you live happily ever after with "the one," Youth Group will either be the eyes-are-pools-that-mirror-the-other-lips-locking-fireworks-bursting-track or the credit-rolling track. Either way, uplifting tears will well up in the viewer's eyes and we'll sigh in jealousy. (There's a reason they are on The O.C. mix CD.)

It's probably not a bad idea to go to their show in the hopes of making that connection. Whether it's a love connection, or just a nice little giddy music-high, good times should be had by all. They're light, fluffy and sweet, like marshmallow puff. Everyone's going to hold hands and sing along.

Or not. Color me optimistic. Worst-case scenario is you chuck out some dead presidents and you get an ear version of a cavity. But you'll survive. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, or maybe in the case of Youth Group, happier. | Katie Bordner
