redMary Jane Parker as Little Red Riding Hood? Now why didn't I think of that? MJ has a run-in with a different sort of webslinger in Spider-Man Fairy Tales #1. My, what big eyes you have!

Spider-Man Fairy Tales #1 Puts A New Spin On An Old Favorite

Isn't everything in life better with a little bit of Spider-Man? Fans will find out the answer this May when Spider-Man Fairy Tales #1 arrives in store, presenting a modern spin on classic myths. Written by C.B Cebulski (the man behind the hit series Loners), with art by Ricardo Tercio, Spider-Man Fairy Tales #1 tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood like you've never seen before!

"Of course, I'm biased when talking about any book I work on, but I could not be happier with the way Spider-Man Fairy Tales has turned out," said Cebulski. "The fact that we've been able to build on the Fairy Tales brand, now incorporating Spider-Man, Marvel most popular franchise, has been a blast! It's always fun finding and establishing the connections between classic fairy tales and the Marvel mythos, and Spider-Man served as very fertile ground. Mary Jane as Little Red Riding Hood fit the bill perfectly for our first issue. Toss in Aunt May as Granny, Peter as the woodcutter and the ever popular black costume, (not to mention Kraven as the big bad wolf!) and a classic has been reinvented Marvel style! Spider-Man 3 and Shrek the Third may be burning up the box office, but that's not the only place to find superheroes and princesses meeting this summer."

Can Spider-Man save Red Riding Hood and Granny, or will the Big Bad Wolf show him who's king of this forest? You'll learn all that and more in Spider-Man Fairy Tales #1!
