Most definitely not named after a certain electrically themed Spider-Man villain, raunchy punk rockers the Shocker have crafted a debut LP packed full of snotty, sweaty, sexy rock 'n' roll that's brutally heavy yet catchy as all get out. Up Your ASS TRAY never slows down to catch its breath, rocketing through 11 tracks in a scant 25 minutes as it blazes through two-minute pop-punk ditties like the shoutalong anthem "Your Problem Now" and the decadent single "Bad Brain Good Head" with savage efficiency. It's on the Black Flag-meets-Faith No More cover of "Body Count"-from rapper Ice-T's metal band of the same name-that this thrilling debut kicks up to another level entirely.
