The Dark Leaves (Altitude Records) due in March 2010.

 

 

Matt Pond escaped the studio for the isolation a cabin in the woods outside of Bearsville, NY to give us The Dark Leaves (Altitude Records).  The album comes a few years after matt pond PA's release Last Light, and after a period of personal growth and rebuilding.  

The Dark Leaves is an album about "surrendering" and "being done with darkness and having something to sing about."  It was recorded with the assistance of engineer and co-producer Chris Hansen.

Matt and Chris also composed the motion picture soundtrack for the film "Lebanon".

The Dark Leaves is due out in March of 2010.
