Unifying Themes Redux provides 17 tracks that highlight a young Botch on its path of becoming one of the most influential post-hardcore/metal bands of recent memory.
After an initial 2002 release by Excursion Records, this collection of seven-inch cuts, rarities, some very interesting covers, and other stuff has been saved from the land of the OOP (out of print) by Hydra Head. Running an exhaustive 70 minutes, Unifying Themes Redux provides 17 tracks that highlight a young Botch on its path of becoming one of the most influential post-hardcore/metal bands of recent memory. Definitely essential for both fan and newbie alike, Redux is a document of a genre that just now seems to be hitting its stride. B | David Lichius
